BlockBeats News, July 28th, AI agent platform Bankr revealed that it is developing the Bankr API, which will allow agents or apps to use Bankr as a cryptographic payment or information layer. The first phase involves using BNKR to pay for each query via x402 and receive transaction data execution. The second phase supports wallet creation, controlled entirely by the agent or app through Bankr.

BlockBeats previously reported that on July 24th, Coinbase Ventures announced that it would support Bankr through the Base Ecosystem Fund. Bankr is one of the agent platforms integrated into Coinbase's newly launched Base app. Transaction agents react faster than humans, operate around the clock, and are capable of making more data-driven decisions.
